BTS' J-Hope releases ‘More’ music video ahead of debut solo album ‘Jack in the Box’

With the release of his single “More” on Thursday, J-Hope is the first BTS member to release a solo project following the announcement of the group’s break last month.

The music video for “More” provides a taste of J-Hope’s forthcoming debut solo studio album , “Jack in the Box.” The album will be released on July 15 at 1 p.m. KST in both physical and digital formats, and online and in-person pre-orders for the album were made available starting on June 27.

Although J-Hope’s new project has no affiliation with fast-food chain Jack in the Box, the latter’s Twitter account joined in on the fun and tweeted that J-Hope was their “bias for a reason.”

On June 26, Big Hit Music announced the release of the upcoming album, stating:

“We would like to announce the release of ‘Jack in the Box,’ J-Hope’s solo album… J-Hope will be the first member of BTS to start this new journey and release his solo album. J-Hope’s solo album, as expressed in the title of the album ‘Jack In The Box,’ represents his aspirations to break the mold and grow further.”

The 28-year-old rapper is already set to make history by becoming the first South Korean headliner on the main stage of Lollapalooza later this month.
