The belt-bound, multipocket Ainsworth sheath and nylon Tool Pouch join the Leatherman ranks to help organize everyday carry essentials.

For all the problems a trusty multitool can solve, sometimes the “C” in EDC can be the trickiest part. That’s why Leatherman today shifts its focus from the tool to the carry with the launch of two products: the Ainsworth Sheath and Tool Pouch.

Both the leather Ainsworth and nylon Tool Pouch aim to organize the tools and extras that clutter pockets, and help prevent you from losing those precious EDCs. Though many Leatherman tools have nylon or sheath accessories, those are designed for the tool alone and not the hodgepodge of handy peripherals many DIYers and tinkerers carry around.

The big glamour product between the two is the Ainsworth Sheath. This will hold a variety of Leatherman tools (details below) and an EDC flashlight, and it has an aluminum key clip. The top grain leather Ainsworth has two belt loops to allow you to secure it on your hip. It fits on belts 1.75 inches wide or smaller.

The Ainsworth’s tool pocket will accommodate select large or medium tools.

Meanwhile, the flashlight pocket can hold mini flashlights up to 18.5mm max diameter, or 16mm diameter with a pocket clip. The Ainsworth Sheath retails for $75.

The pack-friendly Tool Pouch offers more storage options and a little more security than its hip-mounted counterpart.

Built in collaboration with PACSAFE, the Tool Pouch helps keep your essentials secure with a recycled ripstop nylon outer shell and theft-deterrent zipper.

Inside, the Tool Pouch has seven pockets to keep and organize items like charging cords, SD cards, earbuds, mask, pens, power bank, lens cloth and, of course, Leatherman tools and accessories.

The Tool Pouch measures 6.25 inches long, 3.625 inches wide, and 1.5 inches deep. While it fits in small packs, it also has strap and belt attachments and a top-hanging loop. It retails for $30.

Find both the Tool Pouch and Ainsworth Sheath, available today at Leatherman.
